  Key Responsibilities
 
Lead and manage a commercial team consisting of Restaurant sales, Customer areas (including Coworker restaurant), dish washing and Cafés. Implement concepts to increase the sales of company home furnishings products and support the company position as the leading home furnishings company.
Contribute to a positive, relaxing and inspiring customer experience. Focus and act on our customers, seek feedback, monitor customer satisfaction and improve service levels.

Maximise vitality and commerciality of store to increase sales and profitability according to goals.
Ensure an effective implementation and presentation of the food range matrix. Implement your action plan utilising  the appropriate national and international benchmarking tools and best-practice.
Ensure the development of margins through sales steering.
Actively contribute and support all marketing and in-store activities by integrating the store’s Commercial Calendar and use these as an opportunity to proactively drive sales. Ensure effective and economical handling of range changes including management of outgoing range and activities in your function according to the set timelines in the Commercial Calendar.
Lead by example.
Ensure speed and efficiency in the meeting with the customer through an effective use of company solutions, such as self service, effective staffing and mechanical sales techniques.
Ensure that the daily work routines are in place, that the displays are well-filled and the range is presented in an optimal commercial way. Initiate actions to fill the restaurant at off-peak time and increase turnover per seat.
Maximise sales and profit by having appropriate routines for all communication, from parking area into the food area showing relevant offers.
Ensure an efficient maintenance of the Commercial Areas, ensuring they are clean, organised, attractive and inviting to provide a positive customer experience.
Have close cooperation with Kitchen Production Manager to ensure food safety.
Cooperate with Commercial Manager SFM & Bistro to enhance the link between the Restaurant and the Food Market.
Maintain in-depth knowledge of the competition on the local food market. Use this information to initiate immediate actions, to secure an appropriate price distance. Give input on changes

Leadership, HR and Communication
Ensure that all co-workers on the commercial team understand the company Concept and how this impacts their specific roles.
Ensure a safe working environment for co-workers, customers and visitors in line with local legislation and the company Health and Safety policy. Create a ‘Safety First’ Culture within the Commercial team, where co-workers are encouraged to raise and discuss concerns and solutions.
Ensure that the commercial team is regularly trained in Health and Safety to an appropriate level for their roles and responsibilities.
Effectively manage and inspire your team, with particular reference to their selection, training and development in order to ensure you have a competent and well informed team who can meet our customers needs and expectations and have in place a workable and realistic succession plan.
Provide strong leadership to your team by your own example, creating an environment where the company culture is a living reality that embraces the diversity of our co-workers.
Ensure efficient internal communication and information flow and ensure that key central information is understood by all co-workers.
Support the Kitchen Production Manager in operations in accordance with the company Quality, Food Safety and Environmental requirements and other relevant legislation.
Undertake Duty Manager responsibilities within the department on a rotating basis with your other management colleagues and carry out any other reasonable request asked by the management team.

Business Navigation
Develop and communicate to your team an annual action plan for commercial food areas to execute the national and function business plan.  Monitor and evaluate the success of this plan in order to influence future plans.
Ensure efficient organisation of the Commercial Areas in relation to financial performance i.e. gross profit, costs, hours planning, productivity levels, management absence and holiday planning to agreed service levels.
Control overall operating costs without jeopardizing the level of customer service and food safety standards.
Ensure implementation of the ADMIN manual and routines for cash handling.
Utilise relevant tools such as Profit & Loss, KPI-report, StorePoint, Commercial Review, CSI and Voice in order to develop the business, yourself and your team.
  Required Experience/Skills
  Academic Degree
  Computer Skills Computer literate
  Languages Ability to speak and understand written English
  Other At least 2-3 years of Commercial Food/management experience.

־ Advanced knowledge of Food Production, national Food Safety and HACCP.
־ Ability to read and analyse KPIs.
־ Potential to become afood manager or other management position within the store.
