Key Responsibilities |
|
|
Participate in production, marketing, sales and other strategic planning
activities to ensure supply-chain function contributes to the
achievement of company objectives.
Develop and recommend improvements in production, customer service,
supply, and warehouse practices to promote greater efficiency.
Provide information to facilitate the coordination of overall company
distribution and customer service functions and collect information on
present and future distribution needs.
Manage and/or establish inventory control procedures to ensure maximum
cost efficiency while meeting production and distribution requirements.
Review and establish procurement policies and ensure that pricing and
quality thresholds required by the organization are met.
Review and investigate sources of supply to maximize efficiency in terms
of delivery times and develop alternatives where necessary.
Develop and implement improvements in warehouse and distribution
practices to ensure cost-efficient and cost-effective operations.
Ensure that all relevant OHS regulations and guidelines are met, and
that safe working procedures are adhered to in all warehouse
environments. |
